Results
It was an especially large turnout of 93 competitors in Door County, Wisconsin, for this year’s Red Putter Pro Tournament. Slightly humid to start the day from the previous day’s rain turned into a beautiful mid-70s day of mini golf where Matthew Kraus shot a final round of 33 to win the tournament over his brother Nathaniel Kraus by 2 strokes. All four Kraus brothers have now at least finished 2nd place in the history of the tournament. This was Matthew’s 5th tournament win / red jacket and secures his place as the undisputed G.O.A.T. of the Red Putter. Tom Loftus shot a consistent 36 each round, including an ace on his final hole (#7) to finish 3rd. Tim Tally was one shot behind Tom and tied with Matt Francesconi for 4th.
Both Nathaniel and Matthew shot the low round of 33 and had a playoff on Hole #7 where Matthew won 4-2. Nathaniel’s previous tournament low was 39, so every round this year was his best showing to date, showing that there is something about the Kraus family and playing outstanding rounds at the Red Putter.
This is the largest turnout for any AMA tournament to date, and will almost certainly be the largest US tournament in 2026.

On a shot, if the ball rolls back through the tee off area, it is considered out of bounds and a +1 stroke penalty is added

The 24th annual Red Putter Mini Golf Pro Tournament! This is 4th third time this event will allow competitors to receive American Mini Golf Alliance (AMA) scoring points based on their performance.
