66 competitors that qualified for the tournament by scoring under par (42) got together on the morning of Saturday, August 5th for 3 rounds of mini golf. Groups of 3 to 4 putters in each group took a shotgun start and played three sets of 18 holes in succession.

I’ve only personally competed in this tournament two years and it was a deja vu moment seeing the top two spots go to the exact same players. Matt Kraus repeated as the champion for his 3rd championship at the Red Putter and his brother Zach came in a close 2nd. Alex Parys won a sudden-death playoff versus Gary Hester on Hole #7 to take home 3rd place. Former Red Putter champion Mark Schroeder-Strong not only tied the course record (which he already held at 31) but he made one of only 8 recorded hole-in-one shots on Hole #1 throughout the history of the tourney.

Event Details
2023 Marked 21 years of Pro Tournaments at the Red Putter Mini Golf! This is the first time this event will allow competitors to qualify for American Mini Golf Alliance (AMA) scoring points.

$30 - Registration Fee includes 3 rounds of golf followed by a tasty lunch from Mink River Basin. Check the event page for all the details. Must pre-qualify with a score under par. Par is 42. Pre-qualifying can happen anytime before the 5th of August.
