A rainy forecast/ off and on light rain resulted in lower attendance this year for the 5th Shack Mini Golf Tournament. There were 19 total participants from 6 states. PA(6),NJ(6), CT(3), MA(2), NY(1), OH(1)
The weather negatively affected the attendance, but not the scores. Defending champ Scott Kline shot a 58 in the 1st round (1 round record for Shack Tournament) good for a 1 stroke advantage. The lowest score in the 2nd round was Justin Seymour’s 59, giving him a 2 round total of 120 (Record low for Shack Tournament) and the tournament win. Mark “Highlighter” Novicki and Scott Kline finished 3 strokes back with 123. Mark won the sudden death playoff with a 2 on the first hole to secure 2nd place. Mattingly Kline finished 4th with 125, and Anna Seymour rounded out the top five with 127.
Trish Weiss won the amateur division with a score of 73.
Mattingly Kline won the closest to the hole contest, with an ace on hole 18.

Exception from Standard AMA Rules:
Pro division has no stroke limit for the tournament awards. For AMA scoring purposes, we use a max stroke limit of 7 and adjust the final scores based on that stroke limit.

The course has a par of 77 and typically has the most strokes per round in the AMA. Best scores are in the upper 50s and lower 60s in the pro division
