Recap by Putters League Atlanta
The 4th Annual Gregor MacGregor's Mini Link Masters is in the books!
What a day on Amelia Island. Fernandina Beach showed up and showed OUT — not a single cloud in the sky, a crisp 73 degrees, and a breeze that made the whole thing feel like a postcard. If you're going to play competitive mini golf, that's the kind of day you dream about.
24 players. 36 holes. Zero excuses. And ice-cold Long Drinks in hand.
When the dust settled, Justin Gutche was standing at the top of the leaderboard — and it wasn't just a win, it was a statement. Gutche shot a blistering 35 in Round 2 (the day's low round), racked up an absurd 7 aces on the day, and finished at 71 to claim the championship. That's a sweep of every major individual accolade on the board. Someone have a trophy ready.
Danny Tatum put together a rock-solid 73 to claim the silver, and Bryan Akers rounded out the podium with a 76 to take third. The top of the field was tight, competitive, and exactly what this event is built for.
In the divisional awards, Amanda Farahany took home the Women's Championship with an 80, and young Kellen Honeycutt claimed the Juniors title — a name worth remembering.
Special Awards Low Round — Justin Gutche · 35 Most Aces — Justin Gutche · 7 Women's Champion — Amanda Farahany Juniors Champion — Kellen Honeycutt
