For the first time in over a decade, this Maine tournament had a winner who is a resident of Maine as Kyle Courcy snagged victory after 10 rounds of play. It was an up and down ride for Courcy as he pulled out to a large lead through the first 6 rounds of the tournament only to see it be chipped away against by Mark “Highlighter” Novicki in the evening 2 rounds on Saturday. When the rain came on Sunday, Courcy’s lead dwindled even further until Novicki pulled ahead by one stroke with just two holes to play. The quickly puddling water came into play on the 18th hole though as Novicki overshot and fell off the “cliff” into the puddle. Having a hard time getting up the hill, he carded a 4 to Courcy’s 2, giving Courcy the title.
Pat Sheridan would move up the ranks in the final four rounds, hitting a 30 to start and moving into 3rd place by one stroke over Anna Seymour, a repeat of the finish from last year. Justin Seymour also recorded a tournament low 30 on his way to 4th place, just one behind his wife and Stephane Dulmaine finished in the last paying position at 6th.

10-round tournament over 2 days (8 split morning (9am), afternoon (1pm) and evening (7pm) on Saturday and 2 on Sunday early afternoon (1pm)). One division for all players.
Entry: $50 entry fee.
Purse: $500 first place, remaining payout determined by entries. Traditionally, pay down to at least 4th. $100 bonus for the first ace on hole 15 and there is a hole-on-one event on hole 18 after the tournament. A portion of the entry fee will go to the Lee Stoddard scholarship.
Lunch will be served on Saturday, and there are smaller junior and amateur tournaments at the end of Saturday afternoon rounds.
Practice: Free practice on Friday for registered players, course fee for days prior. Practice is also available before each set of rounds on Saturday and Sunday
