Mark “Thee Highlighter” Novicki sets the tournament record score winning by an impressive 13 putts. He is the first player to shoot 2 rounds under 36 in the history of the tournament. Landon Weiss, Jacob Yale, and Jonah Hurley went to a playoff to decide 2nd place. Landon takes 2nd and Jacob 3rd.
Tournament Details
This is a one-day, 3 round annual strokeplay tournament. Sign-in and warm-up starts at 7:00 a.m. and play begins promptly at 7:30 a.m. at Farmington Miniature Golf & Ice Cream Parlor.
Players can use their putters but as per tradition, all putters must use a house ball for the competition. All balls are in play during rounds.
Entry fee: $35 prior to the day of the tournament (and $40 on the day of the tournament.
Top prize in recent years has been $100 and we expect it to be the same, paying down to 3rd place. The field is separated in half to give prizes in a lower division as well.
A portion of the registration fee and the bonus ball money will be donated to the Jimmy Fund/ UCONN Children Cancer Fund
