Adventure Golf or MOS (Minigolf Open Standard) or Crazy Golf are those mini golf courses built with a surface of artificial grass and are most common in North America and Great Britain.
Definitions of all of the forms of mini golf including Feltgolf, concrete, and Miniaturegolf (also called eternit) can be found on the World Minigolf Sport Federation website. Felt, concrete, & eternit are commonly found in Europe and are all standardized forms of minigolf played on surfaces and structures that must adhere to regulations related to design, size, and obstacles in order to be sanctioned for international play. Everything that does not fit in these standards would fit within MOS. Outside of the US, Canada, & Oceania (New Zealand and Australia), the game of min golf is played with various specialized balls and equipment.
