For a 2nd year in a row, Justin Seymour wins the Prodigium Mid-Winter Cup and breaks his own Prodigy tournament records. He sets the new single round record (41) by 3 shots and 2 round tournament record (85) by 8 shots. Brandon Robinson had the 2nd-best round of the tournament (43) and tied Matt Liles for 2nd place. Anna Seymour kicks off the season with a strong 4th place showing, and 2025 AMA season winner Mark "Highlighter” Novicki takes 5th in his first time playing this annual indoor winter tournament.
While it’s hard to compare year to year scores because the course owner, Jeff, modifies the course slightly every year, the top scores have come down considerably. Jacob Yale’s 104 (11th place) would have won the tournament in 2024.
The 3-hole playoff on holes 5-7 for 2nd place took place on the evening of February 1st. Matt beat Brandon 8-7 in those three holes. Both took a 3 on #5 and a 2 on #6 but Matt’s 2 on #7 broke the tie in this tight battle.
Note: The tournament ended up taking place across Saturday, January 24th (morning and evening) and Sunday, January 25th (morning) due to a major snowfall. Groups were scored by Prodigy staff, and play was also documented on security cameras. As of initially sharing the results, no playoffs were set, but a possible playoff for 2nd place may happen, which could change the bonus points award.

If a ball goes out of bounds, but bounces back in bounds, ultimately resting back in bounds, the ball is within legal play and can be played as normal.
